Showreel From Scratch – Episode 5: Filming Indoors Part 1

In this episode of our How To Make a Showreel From Scratch series we are getting started on the indoor filming. We will discuss the different type of lights and what effect they have.

Starting with going through all type of light bulbs (incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and LED) and their most important qualities. We will discuss colour temperature and how to shift them. I will also show you how to soften any light. Lastly I will show you all the lights, I am currently using for showreel filming. These can be a great starting point for you to decide what light you should get to film you own showreel from scratch.
